GPS 3D Modeling and Machine Control

Cleland Site Prep has invested heavily in GPS system technologies, allowing the contractor to more efficiently and accurately manage the pre-construction and construction phases in a project’s lifecycle. During pre-construction, AutoCAD engineering files are converted into 3D models of the project site, which are then used to accurately estimate material quantities and project costs. During construction, these 3D models are uploaded into the GPS Machine Controls on the earthmoving equipment, making for increased productivity by improving grading accuracy and eliminating mid-job survey crews.
